Brief interview with Senator Bennet

Last week on March 7th, President of Ukrainians of Colorado, Marina Dubrova, was invited to The State of the Union address by @senatorbennet in Washington D.C. Marina was invited to announce the recognition of Ukrainians of Colorado as an organization and during her time there was able to have a brief interview with Senator Bennet regarding our mission.

The State of the Union Address is an annual message delivered by the president of the United States to a joint session of the United States Congress near the beginning of most calendar years on the current condition of the nation. In the message, the President talks about important issues facing Americans and offers his ideas on solving the nation’s problems, including suggestions for new laws and policies.

This was an honor for Ukrainians of Colorado, and for Ukrainians in America to be recognized, and to be heard that it is a necessity for America to continue helping Ukraine.

Thank you, Senator Bennet, for inviting us to join you and for continuously supporting Ukraine.
