Ukrainians of Colorado to Commemorate the 90 th Anniversary of the Holodomor Genocide on November 18, 2023
The Ukrainians of Colorado proudly announce a solemn 90 th Anniversary commemoration event on November 18, 2023, to remember the victims of the Holodomor Genocide of 1932-33. This event will serve as a platform to honor the memory of millions of innocent lives lost during this tragic period in Ukrainian history and raise awareness about its historical significance.

Film Series to Highlight Ukraine’s Freedom Struggle
Five recent award-winning films from Ukraine will be shown in Denver, February 9-11, as part of a unique local collaboration to highlight the country’s gifted filmmakers and its fight to resist Russian invasion.
Entitled “Cinema of Survival: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom — Through the Lens of Film,” the film series will be hosted by MCA “The Cube” at 8351 E Northfield Blvd. near the Conservatory Green in Central Park, northeast Denver.
“Believe in Ukraine” rally
Hundreds of supporters of Ukraine will rally at the State Capitol this weekend to call for the U.S. Congress to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression.
The rally, set for 12 noon on Saturday, February 24th, will mark two years since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and ten years since Russia’s forced annexation of Crimea and incursion into Donbas.
