Cooking class in Fort Collins, Colorado

This past Saturday evening, our very own Tatyana Stratilat, known Ukrainian cuisine chef, held a cooking class in Fort Collins, Colorado.

This was specifically a fundraising cooking class where attendees learned to prepare Ukrainian dishes, such as borscht with ribs, varenyky with potatoes, and honey pie. Tatyana was also able to introduce Americans to Ukrainian traditions.

The purpose of this event was to raise funds from the ticket sales of her cooking class. A total of $1,977 was raised from this cooking class !!! - this allowed her to purchase children's thermal clothing for children 4-16 years old, and winter jackets. A total of 293 items were were purchased at Costco.

We are working with Tatyana and 1,000 Warm Hugs to help collect 1000 items of clothing for children in Ukraine. The clothes will be given to @andrew_matya, an official representative, who will then take them to Ukraine and give them to children from de-occupied territories and orphans.
